TEST Seniors Week Campaign

The Office of the Seniors Advocate is asking B.C. seniors to submit stories that highlight their acts of service, wisdom about ageing or other interesting insights about growing older. The office will share some or all of several submissions on social media (Facebook and X) during BC Seniors Week and beyond. Submissions will be accepted from May XX to June 7, 2025 and must include a photo.

To be used for internal purposes only.

Photo must be of the submitter only. Photos with other people included will not be used.

The personal information you submit may be collected by Office of the Seniors Advocate in the Ministry of Health under s. 26(c), (d)(i) and 27(2) of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act for the purposes of engaging and consulting with the public. By providing information in this application and photo, the submitter’s first name, age, hometown, question response, and photo may be posted to the Office of the Seniors Advocate Facebook and X (formerly Twitter) accounts and remain indefinitely. Please be aware that any information collected may be stored and/or accessed outside of Canada on servers not belonging to the government. The OSA is not responsible for any possible re-sharing or duplication that occurs via social media. To protect the privacy of others, please do not include any personal information including phone numbers or email addresses in the body of your comment. Please do not share personal information about others, including pictures. Information provided will be stored secularly in a digital format.
